November 13
Asahikawa Commercial High School Culture Festival
Every year Asahikawa Commercial High School
has a concert were they showcase the various talents of the students.
Every homeroom class (18 in all) has to sing the school song as
well as another song of their own choosing. They do extraordinarily
well, it sounds like you're listening to a professional choir. In
addition to the singing, the drama club and the brass band also
perform. Also, a photo exhibition is held outside the performance
hall.

Tanno-cho Thanksgiving, Take Two
It's that time of year to gorge ourselves
on Turkey and pie. Travis graciously invited us all out again to
be his slaves and cook Thanksgiving dinner for his town. On Friday
night, Travis, James, and Bob performed a little concert for us
and good times were had by all. We starting cooking turkeys Saturday
around noon and cooked on through until the evening. This year's
dinner was even better than last year's. Things came into place
easily and the turnout was great! (The turkey and stuffing were
pretty good, too, if I do say so myself...)

Small audience for the concert, but they still made enough noise

I was playing with the settings on my camera and go this picture
